The service
HeyPlates lets restaurants build and publish digital video menus, optionally take orders through their POS, and run related services we offer (such as loyalty and content production). We may improve or change features over time.
Your account & content
You're responsible for your account credentials and for the content you upload. You must own or have rights to the menus, photos, and videos you publish, and they must not be unlawful or misleading (including prices and allergen information, which remain the restaurant's responsibility).
Subscriptions & billing
Publishing a menu requires a paid menu slot, billed monthly per live menu through Stripe. You can change your slot count or cancel anytime; changes are prorated and cancellation stops future charges. When a subscription lapses, menus stay saved but are no longer publicly visible.
Ordering & third parties
If you enable ordering, orders are transmitted to your connected POS (e.g. Square) and fulfilled by you. Payment processing is handled by the respective providers under their terms. We are not a party to the transaction between you and your diners.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to breach security, scrape other users' data, or publish content you don't have rights to. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyPlates is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim.
